I'm using flask with sqlalchemy. Let's say I have one page where there are a bunch of posts made by users and you can like each post. However, that same page lets you post your own post. There are 2 post requests being made. One to update the database for when you want to submit a post and one for when you want to notify the database that you pressed like or dislike. How am I supposed to distinguish the posts? I could check for values but I'm just wondering if there's a better way.

When a post is liked, I used the button submit with value =1 or 0 to specify whether a like or dislike was sent. I was just thinking whether there would be an easier way to identify these form submissions like if they had a name or something.
