I'm trying to find a way to create an electron app where I can have the user download add-on nodejs scripts after installing the software. I'm building a MEAN stack app locally within electron so the back-end will need to download new scripts whenever needed.
I know vscode runs off of electron and has the extensions that you can download so there must be a way to accomplish something like this. I haven't seen much documentation on creating add-ons so I appreciate any help!
